1a) Zeitgeist :from my understanding the term "Zeitgeist'' is a specific idea that is tied to a time period.it can relate to anything that happen during that time period like art movements in prticular had certain rules or ideas that where followed during the art movement this was the Zeitgeist of the movement
"Zeitgeist:The general moral, intellectual, and cultural climate of an era; Zeitgeist is German for “time-spirit.” For example, the Zeitgeist of England in theVictorian period included a belief in industrial progress, and the Zeitgeist ofthe 1980s in the United States was a belief in the power of money and the many ways in which to spend it."(www.dictionary.com/2005)
this relates to design in the way that certain art movements have specific rules and beyond that there are a lot of design laws and rules on how stuff should be done correctly as designers we tend to push and breake these rules but often keep in mind these unwritten rules as a tempelate for our work

B) Utopia : from my own understanding a utopia is a view of perfection in all aspects of ones life or a groups life . as humans we all seek our own personally utopia, a perfect balanaced life where theres no such thing as negative situations only positives a utopia is an imaginary made up concept of a place where life works perfectly in all aspects.
Definition of utopian. 1 : of, relating to, or having the characteristics of a utopia; especially : having impossibly ideal conditions especially of social organization. 2 : proposing or advocating impractically ideal social and political schemes <utopian idealists>(www.merriam-webster.com/
this relates to design because as artist and designers we seek perfection in our work and never find it we are in a pursuit for perfection in art but awlays find flaws so never accomplish this goal
